Council of Practical Nurse Programs of New York State
Journal 2008
On behave of the Journal Committee; we are welcoming submissions for the 2008 edition. We are asking that all nursing instructors and all nursing students submit their original article, poem, or artwork to make this journal the best one yet.
The Practical Nurse Journal will consist of different categories.
1. “The Art of Nursing”
2. “Notes from the Field” – from faculty
3. Poetry Corner
4. Artwork
5. Tips for the student/ Tips for the teacher
6. “Issues and Trends”
7. “Evidence Based Practice” – article with references
8. “Notable Notes” – a lighter side column
Important Instructions for all Submissions:
A. Deadline for all original submissions: February 29th 2008
B. All submissions must be completed via Microsoft Word
C. Previous submissions that have already been published are not acceptable
D. Selected authors must sign a disclosure to have their work published
